Fresh Thyme's Weekly Ad, which runs from June 15 to 21, 2022, offers the new Father's Day sale, ribeye steak, peaches, grilling products, and many more products.
There is a Tomahawk Ribeye Steak from Certified Angus Beef® available for purchase at a price of $9.99 per pound. In its most basic form, a tomahawk steak is just a ribeye steak that has the bone still attached to it. It is taken from a portion of the ribs, and following removal, the primary rib bone is left linked to the other rib bones. It looks like an ax with a tomahawk head attached to it if that makes any sense. The presence of the bone in the ribeye contributes to the insulation of the flesh while it cooks, which ultimately results in the steak having a texture that is more moist and soft. There are a variety of butcher shops that carry tomahawk steaks, and upscale supermarket stores are also beginning to stock them more often.
